Does that scare you ? No ? Okay.
This movie scared the shit out of me.
One of my friend showed me the trailer of this movie months ago,
and he was so excited about this movie, like, SO EXCITEEEEDDDDD.
This movie was initially a NO-NO for me.
When I first saw the trailer of this horror movie,
my first thought was : "Okay. Is this movie going to be another
filmed-by-shaky-hands-camera type of movie !?!?"
I honestly beh tahan (cannot stand) movie with shaky lens.
Yes, shaky lens might make the movie appear more realistic,
BUT my eyes, my brain, my stomach & my throat can't stand it.
On the other hand,
the reviews for this movie online is TERRIBLY BAD,
which makes me feeling super doubtful about this movie.
" Is this movie really worth watching? "
" Am I going to puke in front of the movie screen in cinema? "
Despite of being haunted by all the doubts,
I still went and watched it fearlessly today.

And turns out :
THIS MOVIE SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME.
( which I've already mentioned in the 2nd line of 2nd paragraph )
I'm definitely NOT disappointed at all.
This movie is NOT filmed by shaky lens, at all.
The whole movie is basically a computer screen interface of an Apple MacBook,
where you're watching the screen from the point of view of the main character, Blaire.
IT WAS REALISTIC ENOUGH FOR ME TO BELIEVE THAT I'M BLAIRE.
That was how scary this movie is, by making you believe that you are one of them.
I WILL GIVE THIS MOVIE A 7/10 MARKS.

She shot her head herself with a gun, and this scene is DISTURBING for me.
( LOL, already scared like shit in the FIRST 5 MINUTES )
An embarrassing video of her drunk & pooped in her pants was posted online
and she's being cyber-bullied by all the hate comments.
On the anniversary of her death a year later,
six of her friends (namely Blaire, Mitch, Jess, Adam, Val & Ken) are chatting online.
Then someone joins them. "It" has no pic or name...but is using Laura's old account.
They can't delete or block this user, no matter how.
Then this user starts posting deep dark secrets they've all been hiding,
and asking them of the mastermind behind Laura's online footage.
It turns out that ALL six of them are involved in the cyber-bullying of Laura,
and they ended up all died in various ways, one by one.
It was quite predictable, but the process still scared the shit out of me.
I was covering my ears almost all way through the whole movie,
like how I covered my ears when I was watching "Annabelle", hahahahaha.
( PS : probably because I am a timid loser. BOO. )
After watching this movie, I feel a little bit awful.
For a moment I thought I was going to have another anxiety attack, BUT I didn't.
IT'S JUST . . . VERY DISTURBING FOR ME, HAHAHAH
But then I overheard (not eavesdropping) a guy beside me saying that :
" This movie is dumb lah aiyo, so fake that I wasn't scared at all, waste my money. "
Then I was like "Huh, really meh?"
Okay lo, since you so fearless then you go re-watch the whole movie lah.
In my opinion, it was a clever idea to use social media to tell the story.
In fact the entire movie is on a computer screen, which makes it more relatable to us.
Although the cast are all non-famous-actors, they look and act like teenagers,
and are very good and believable in their roles.
There are also a few "realistic-but-not-pornographic" sex scenes &
LOTS and LOTS of vulgar words ... but these are teenagers, no deal hahaha.
The characters are introduced very quickly, but you do get to know them along way.
So when the violence kicks in, it's disturbing.
There isn't a lot of bloody violence in this movie, but what there is is VERY disturbing.
By the end of the movie I was scared silly. (the 4th time I'm saying this)
In a nutshell,
If you are very active on Skype,
YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER NOT WATCHING THIS MOVIE.
Just a personal advice. Don't watch it.
Although a very large amount of people are saying that this movie is dumb,
my brain still tells me that I'm scared, heheh.
